To my awesome daughter, you were incredible! Congratulations on a successful show. You took on a major role with the microphone: poised, strong voice, clear articulation, mommy is so proud of you. We were so impressed by your wonderful performance.
Though the annual English Speaking Festival was scaled down due to the pandemic, the teachers’ dedication and children’s enthusiasm doubled. From preparation, I saw their passion, team spirit, and perseverance. I saw Lele practicing with joy and anticipation. When I asked if she was stressed at all, she said, “No! I got this!” She really enjoyed being in the performance. Possibly because she had the mic, she practiced more than ever. Every weekend, whenever she was free, she’d rehearse passionately at home, in the car, before bed, and even during shower time!
At the final performance, we saw their effort rewarded, and their sense of achievement and confidence shine. It made us realize just how wonderful our teachers and children are.
My dear child, thank you for showing your passion and effort to me. Keep going! You will always be the best in my heart! Mommy loves you, as we all do.
